Fall Internship at Foreign Policy Initiative in Washington, DC

The Foreign Policy Initiative (FPI) is a non-profit, non-partisan, 501(c)(3) organization that promotes continued U.S. engagement—diplomatic, economic, and military—in the world and a rejection of policies that lead down the path to isolationism. FPI urges robust support for America’s democratic allies and opposes rogue regimes that threaten American interests. The organization seeks to focus on the human rights of those oppressed by their governments, and believes in spreading political and economic freedom through U.S. leadership. We also advocate a strong military with the defense budget needed to ensure that America is ready to confront the threats of the 21st century. FPI recognizes international economic engagement as a key element of U.S. foreign policy in this time of great economic dislocation.

FPI seeks college juniors or seniors, graduate students, or recent graduates to work as unpaid interns at its office in downtown Washington, DC. More specifically FPI seeks applicants interested in the full range of foreign policy issues. Intern duties include, but are not limited to: assisting with research, FPI event preparation, administrative tasks and opportunities to attend DC-area events.

Please submit a cover letter (including GPA) and resume to Eric Weisz, Director of Operations, via the FPI employment website or click here. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
